Nobody watches an ad because it's an ad. They watch because the first second gives them a reason. These four openings do that consistently.
011. The result first
Show the end state — the finished dish, the glowing skin, the furnished room — before explaining how. Curiosity does the rest.
022. The pattern break
Something unexpected in frame one: an odd angle, a sudden movement, an object where it shouldn't be. It interrupts the scroll by being different from everything above and below it.
033. The direct question
A line of on-screen text that names the viewer's problem. If it's their problem, they stop.
044. The face
A person looking into the lens and speaking. It's the oldest hook in video because it still works.
The first second earns the second second. Nothing else matters until then.
We script two or three hooks per concept and test them against each other — the cheapest way to find out what your audience responds to.
